Discount Tanning Lotion For Their Great Tans

by Haywwod Hunter

It makes sense to use discount tanning lotion because it works just as well as name brands and costs a less. People associate tanned skin with good health. People who spend time in the sun are receiving a lot of health benefits because the sun helps the body utilize vitamins more effectively and the sun can actually promote healing.

Although sunshine provides a lot of health benefits, too much sun can be detrimental to one's skin, so there has to be a balance. When spending time outdoors make sure to drink plenty of water. If the skin dehydrates the skin can wrinkle prematurely.

Some people use sunscreen in combination with suntan cream so that skin is protected from harmful rays but the skin still tans. Sunscreen protects the deeper layers of skin while the suntan cream allows the upper layers to brown. Do not try to tan in one session or in other words practice patience.

It is better to try to bronze over the course of several days rather than trying to get that bronze look in one day. When one allows the body to become accustomed to the sun over a few days there is less chance of sunburn. Avoiding sunburn should be the number one objective.

Some people have success by preparing their skin using a body brush in the shower. The body brush exfoliates the dead skin and gets the body ready for an even tan. Use circular motions with the brush for best results.

It is important to have reasonable expectation when looking for that bronze look. People with fair skin have to take extra precautions when they are outdoors in order to avoid sunburn. But, anyone who uses the right discount tanning lotion, and who practices patience, can develop a fine looking tan.
