Article Submission Is Still Alive And Kicking

by Stavros Georgiadis

Post the articles you write on your site first, so you can get some SEO "juice". This is easy and can boost web rankings and traffic. Search engines rank frequently updated sites more highly, so when you post articles to your site you help yourself.

Don't forget to submit your work to blog networks when you hit the article directories. Use blogs to help grow visitor traffic to your website quickly. Don't forget to include your own details in a bio with every article, so people will read the blog and then click over to your site.

Resist the urge to deluge indexes with the same article. Instead use as many indexes as you can with a variety of articles on each one. Marketers have to fight against the temptation to resubmit a single article to the hundreds of indexes that are out there. Search engines are aware that people do this, and will not count all the links associated with these articles when they do the rankings, so you will only be hurting yourself.

Get your personality into your article. Tell some anecdotes, adopt a friendly tone and write about your experiences and feelings so your readers can relate to you. Apply integrity, and let your style run free. Readers will see this and feel more comfortable with you as a person.

Your first paragraph must be the best one. The opening paragraph of an article is the section of text that is most important to your readers and the search engines that index it. If you put the best and most relevant information in this paragraph, you will grab the reader and search engines attention. Do not give up all your information, but give them teasers to keep them interested. You want them to read the rest of it, too.

Titles are as important as the the actual content when it comes to article submission. When the title isn't engaging, no one will read the article. It should be pertinent to your topic, as well as friendly and catchy. Make sure your readers know what to expect from your article.

Break your articles up by using bullet points or numbers so readers can grab the information in little bites. Using this tactic makes the reading material easier to understand and remember. If readers see a bullet or a number alongside information, they see it as being important and give it their attention.

Establish a unique perspective and style in your pieces. Let your articles convey who you are so your readers can identify with you. Also, avoid adopting the style of other authors, to keep your credibility and likeability high; your business will benefit more from your article marketing efforts.

Your articles will be more successful as more people are exposed to them. However, you don't really need to worry about appeasing everyone in general. It's much better to have thousands of customers that are interested than millions that aren't. Everything should be adapted to your audience.
